The LRC is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Our physical Helpdesk based in the LRC is open 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, 11am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday (semester time only).

Our Liaison Librarians and the Effective Learning Services team are contactable via email and provide support for staff and students via MS Teams or in person (subject to hybrid working arrangements).
If the Fire Alarm sounds whilst you are in the LRC, go to the nearest fire exit. You must then go to our closest Assembly Point and wait for further instructions. Do NOT remain in the building.
Any items that require issuing by staff cannot be borrowed during non-staffed hours – e.g. DVDs, or inter-library loans. All queries should be emailed, where they will be answered as soon as possible during the next working day.
If you have any problems relating to access during the non-staffed hours, or if the alarm sounds as you enter/exit the LRC, please see the Security staff at main reception.
