Key dates
For new lists and updates to existing lists, please be aware of the following timescales:
To avoid student dissatisfaction, please aim to publish your reading lists ahead of the advertised deadlines if at all possible. Processing time for new items can vary considerably, so please anticipate eight working weeks for your list to be checked and for items to be ordered, arrive and be processed.
1. The user-friendly interface and bookmark tool make it easy for you to add resources at any time
2. The lists are openly available so students can access them easily online (including without access to Canvas)
3. The list entries link students directly to journal articles and web pages and connect to the library catalogue to let students know where they can find the print books
4. Features for students include setting reading intentions, adding personal notes and downloading formatted references
6. As soon as lists are edited and republished, changes are immediately visible
Training and support is available from your liaison librarian - you can email them direct or book an appointment here.
Note: Talis lists work best with Chrome.
