Resource Lists: Guide for Staff: Step 1. Register

This guides aims to support academic staff with managing their Talis Resource Lists.

Register with Talis

  1. Follow the Talis Resource List link .  Use your Shibboleth username and password to log in.  Create a profile by clicking on the profile picture/link. Make your profile Public. (This is how your librarian will be able to assign you as the owner of lists)
  2. Email your liaison librarian all the modules codes/names for the modules you co-ordinate and they will assign you as a Talis Resource List (TARL) owner. You should receive a number of emails (corresponding to the number of lists you will own) letting you know that you have become a list owner. In this capacity, you are able to edit your list as you wish and you are able to invite other academic colleagues to be publishers of your list, which means they will be able to do everything you do except invite others to be publishers.
