Referencing and Plagiarism: Reference manager tools

Reference manager tools are helpful for you to save information about the sources you are using for your work. Many of them offer you the ability to export references directly into your work, formatted with your chosen reference style. You may also be able to make use of word processing plugins, allowing you to cite as you write. Below is information about the reference managers supported by QMU.

Please note: these tools have been selected for their usability, functionality and compatibility with QMU's IT systems. They are interoperable with as many different hardware and software tools as possible, but in some instances (e.g. Chromebooks) there are limitations around their functionality.

At QMU we support EndNote specifically and Liaison Librarians can provide some training around this particular tool.
