Study Spaces

There are a variety of study spaces in the LRC designed to suit the different ways students like to study.

Open Access Area

The largest bank of computer terminals. It is more suited to students who like some background noise when they study.

Please note that due to COVID-19 restrictions some terminals in this area are not in use to allow for physical distancing.

Quiet Study Rooms

Some computer terminals and sockets for you to plug in your laptop. No talking or group work is permitted 
unlike the Open Access Area.

Please note that due to COVID-19 restrictions study spaces have been reduced to allow for physical distancing.

Group Study Rooms

For student use only. They can be booked up to two weeks in advance using the online booking form.

Please note that due to COVID- 19 restrictions only groups of 4 students can use the group study rooms.

Study Carrels

Please note that due to COVID-19 restrictions the individual study carrels will not be available for use until further notice.

With a desk, lamp and socket for you to plug your
laptop in. They can also be booked up to two
weeks in advance using the
online booking form.
