How to get the most out of Resource Lists

Resource Lists at QMU

Resource Lists have been created for QMU students to easily access a range of resources for your modules. They are where you can find the details of the books, book chapters, journal articles, videos, websites and other resources your lecturers would like you to engage with in preparation for your lectures, tutorials, workshops and assignments.

Go to Resource Lists at QMU home page.

Useful features

Resource Lists at QMU has a number of helpful features to make accessing resources as simple as possible:

  • Some lecturers choose to label resources as essential/recommended/background reading so you can prioritise your reading
  • You can see what resources are available online and click through to access the full text
  • You can see up to date availability and locations of physical library resources (books, dvds etc.)
  • You can access scanned extracts of key readings requested by lecturers

Finding Your Resource Lists

Your course Hub area should have a link to the course Resource List, if your lecturer uses one. You can also access lists directly from the Resource Lists at QMU homepage

You can use the search box to enter the module or programme title, module code or the name of your lecturer. You can type the full details or select from the drop down list that will appear.
