Events Management: Case Studies to Use in Teaching

There are hundreds if not thousands of books at QMU that contain case studies. To find them, go to the Library Catalogue and try the following different searches:

case stud* - to search for books containing case AND (study or studies) where the asterisk searches for various word endings or plurals 

business case* - to search for books containing business AND (case or cases)

The word business above can be replaced with more specific terms: management, leadership, marketing, finance, accounting, strateg* (for strategy or strategic), ethic* (for ethic, ethics or ethical) etc.

• Arthur Andersen Case Studies in Business Ethics (Carnegie Mellon) 
• Case Centre has hundreds of free cases but you must register to access free cases. Once logged in, go to Choosing and Accessing Cases and click online search, then in the Product Search click Cases and at the bottom of the page tick  "Show only items in the free case collection" to search all free cases.

• Internet Archive  digitized books that include business case studies – however not suitable for teaching – only to borrow individually from the Internet Archive
• Markkula Center for Applied Ethics at Santa Clara University: Ethics Cases 
• Portland State University: Social Innovation & Social Entrepreneurship .
• Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations  free case studies of employee owned companies.
